I plan on leaving my family but I need to get social services involved to help my brother. How do they operate if...?

I have photo evidence of criminal activity (drugs, moonshining), unfit living conditions, and an animal bite from a dangerous dog mom keeps.

My questions are:

will they act immediately or can I give a time frame?

Will I be required to testify in court?

Will they call the house?

Can I give them an alternate number to call?

If submit the evidence do I need to be present or can I go my way while they work to help my brother?

    Your brother will go to foster care, as will you if you are under 18.

    You make an anonymous call and they come out. You don't get to decide the time frame.

    They will not let on that you called them. I can't tell you about the rest because I don't know the state or the particulars of your situation. But ask them, they'll tell you.
