infected cut?

Question

I self harmed on Sunday. I didn't want anyone to know including my mum, so I thought it would heal up on it's own. But it got infected so I had to tell mum and go to a+e, When I was there it was covered and I was given antibiotics. But since the dressing was put on yesterday (Tuesday about 5pm), It's been weeping and there is a lot of pus, trapped under the plaster. I was told not to take it off for 4 days and to see a nurse to take it off if I can.
 
But the next appointment for my nurse in Monday, doctor will be even longer, and I'm not up for going back to a+e.

Well, if you get a fever, it's definitely time to hit emergency care.

All I saw was an arm with a bandage.  What do you want from us?  Leave it alone and do as you're told.

That is a huge bandage! he antibiotics probably have not yet started to work since you just started taking them, so I would give it a few more days. I hope you are seeing a mental health therapist or counselor for your self-harm.
