Broke bone but feels fine now.?
I broke my left elbow and by broke i mean small crack. I wasn't allowed to see my x-ray. I have a temporary splint right now. But I can move my hand around fine. Nothing feels out of the ordinary. Is there some kind of fracture or something that can confuse nurses to make them think its a crack when its not? If not then why do i feel perfectly fine right now? I haven't taken any medication or iced it for 2 days so my pain isn't just numbed out.

I broke my thumb really badly once. It stopped hurting 100% after an hour. I went to the ER they splinted it. They didn't see the fracture at the time but wanted to play it safe. I figured it must not be broken so I went with my daily activities fine. When I went to my follow up appointment only then did they see the break. Sometimes broken bones almost don't hurt, but I highly recommend keeping the splint on because who knows how much worse I made my thumb.
