have you ever gotten bruises on your toes from stubbing them walking around at home in your bare Feet?

I have. I stubbed my toe on my coffee table today. I was barefoot and now my pinky toe is dark purple .

    It's very possible that you broke the bone. You can go to a doctor, but they don't do much except tape the toe to the one next to it. Ice it down if it's swelling. It will heal eventually. I've done that at least once.
