Can I wetsand my black car`s clearcoat for matte finish?
So I got black BMW E34 and I want it to have matte black paint. I was thinking about wetsanding carefully and gently with 2000-3000 sandpaper to get a matte finish.
what are your toughts and what things do I have to keep in mind by doing this?

What you have to keep in mind is that you are a complete and total IDIOT for wanting to do this in the first place. What are you going to do when the FAD has passed and people go back to shiny paint jobs? It will cost you THOUSANDS of dollars to respray your car to get back the original gloss black finish.

No matter what you do, it won't look good unless you have some experience. Take it to a paint and body shop to get a guesstimate.

matte? you mean flat?
sand that crap off & repaint it with Rustoleum one state enamel (buy a wagner pain sprayer on Amazon & get the "detail" gun for extra $30

there is a rubberized black flat spray that can be removed when you want.
