Please provide your insight on this healthcare case?

Explain why having the physician enter the orders directly into the EHR would be an advantage, or a better process, than having you enter the orders.

I feel that a physician having enter orders directly by him or herself into the EHR is better because their understanding of the context would be greater than someone who is handed paper records and asked to enter in the EHR.

Please add to my understanding

    You should enter the orders, because that is YOUR job.

    Deciding what the orders should BE... that is the physician's job.
