If i rented a uhaul for local move and rrturned it to the same destination but lied about mileage will i get caught?

    Sure they check the mileage.

    they check the mileage before and after you return the van/truck no matter which location you return it to.

    You can't lie about mileage.. they check the odometer before and after..

    I don't know if you will be "caught" but I do know that they will know how many miles you traveled.
