IS THE WORD "FUNNY" COLLOQUIAL?

Is the word funny colloquial, can it be colloquial at all? Depending on the context? Could you please give examples if it can be. Thanks

    "colloquial" means "nonformal use of words".

    "funny" has several different meanings. if there were a way to use it outside of it's traditional meaning(s), that would be colloquial usage.

    i'm not aware of a colloquial usage of this word by itself, though perhaps as part of a phrase?
