Do democrats really thank that if you voted for Trump and/or have no problem with Russia, that you are a "traitor to the nation"?

I have no party affiliation but this accusation that i've seen made just seems absolutely absurd to me..

A "straw man" argument, is when you project on opinion on someone who never actually stated that opinion, and then criticise them for the opinion that you attributed to them. Which raises the question- which Democrats are saying you are a traitor if you voted for Trump and don't have a problem with Russia?. I have no doubt you can find some if you look under a rock, but that is not a widely held opinion of most Democrats. For me personally, voting for Trump is not traitorous, but, if Trump knowingly leveraged and cooperated with Russia to sway voter opinion, that would be traitorous. So far there is no evidence that Trump knew or cooperated, so it is speculation either way. However, there is evidence that Russia did in fact get involved in the hacking and release of emails in order to sway voter opinion of Clinton. You may not have a problem with that (or maybe you don't believe it), but I do. That doesn't make you or I a bad person.

No, dear, I'm a Democrat and don't know any Democrats who think that Trump voters are traitors or that having no problem with Russia in general is traitorous.

I do think that if you have no problem with Russia hacking into US politicians' email or any other material, you might want to examine your views on that subject. What do you think Russians or the citizens of any other nation would be saying if their intelligence agencies turned up evidence that we'd done the same to THEIR politicians, in the context of an election or similar event?

    Yes.

And 99% of republicans would have agreed 6 months ago.

But since blatant hypocrisy is your strong suit.... no one is really SURPRISED that all of the sudden Putin is "a great leader."

It is absurd. A good political thinker knows the value of having 2 strong, competing parties, as well as the value of open debate.

ANOTHER WORD, "TRAITOR" Liberals have no idea what it means. Remember, when Cons shared their displeasure for President OBAMAs foreign Policies they called us "RACISTS". So there you go??

If you support another country over you own, you are a traitor.
