Human overpopulation isn't much of a threat to humanity's survival. Human overpopulation is by definition caused by too many humans surviving! It's hard to imagine *only* overpopulation destroying the planetary environment to the point that it literally cannot support a few dozen human beings.

depends on which tribal and deity one serves and which religious group comes to power over the whole earth. specifically, if satan rules the earth He will cause all Christians to die, as many as will not deny Christ. so, for Christianity, they need to survive the tribulation if there is no pre trib rapture. and if there is a communist take over, in American, American citizens will have to either fight or flee to Zion in order to be saved from invading armies. and if the armies are Muslims, they need to know not to let in the crimials and the radical jihadists.

you're correct. the issue is that we either have to expand into space and the rest of the galaxy or restrict and ration ourselves to survive on the planet and allow the planet to thrive as well.
