Were the Druids similar to Scientology?

Of course not. A Druid is a member of an ancient Celtic religion, see dictionary definition below.

Scientology is a brand new 20th Century religion, it is an applied religious philosophy. Scientology's roots come from the religions and spiritual ideas of the East, specifically Hinayana Buddhism. All Celtic religions were European in origin.

    Definition:

    DRUID

The druids worshiped trees because they stood up straight and had juice inside them. Scientology doesn't make that much sense.

Yes. Druids didn't believe in psychiatry, either.

    .......................

"Druids" weren't a cult or a religion. "Druids" were ancient Celts who held high positions in Celtic society.
