    Why illegally download a Bible that like how can you when there are thousands of legal Bible's for free? If you downloaded it illegally discard it!

    Then download one for free legal there are thousands of them!

    Gideons have a free Bible download available in the app store. In over 1000 different translations, too!

    Don't illegally download it. Just get the You Version which is free and it has a cool British guy read it to you. It's pretty epic how he reads.

    All holy scripture is public domain. If someone has a copyright on it then it is a commentary. Stealing the commentaries and ideas of men is wrong. Not only is it wrong, the material you are stealing will not be the Word of God. It will be someone analyzing and commenting on God's Word.

    The bible doesn't cover copyright laws, we're still waiting for that update.

  • Not if it:s KJV. The publishers of NIV have copyrighted their version so it would be illegal.
