yes. I came home one day with a migraine, a real bangeroo. I was almost unable to see by the time i got home from work, and i was in bad shape, I barely crawled into bed in my cool dark room. My avatar dog, there in the green, Duke, got up on the bed very gently, and sat sphinx like by my side without moving while i slept it off. It was more than 3 hours when i woke up, and he hadn't moved a muscle. I was out gardening today and pruned his rose bushes on his grave, and i said Duke, you were truly one of the great ones. Here he is with his granddaughter Sunshine. He was always so patient with her, she's a bit of a goofball.

Yes your cat is there to comfort you.
