Do you think Starbucks Coffee sucks?
I don't particularly like Starbucks sometimes it's just the most convenient place to go, usually i only order a regular coffee or an Americano, but the taste is so god awful, its almost like they over roast their coffee and espresso beans or something.
I am no coffee snob, I actually prefer the instant coffee, but sometimes at work when my caffeine habit kicks in starbucks is the only thing within distance. Anyways what your opinion.

Well they are overpriced and overrated. I can make better coffee and ice drinks at home for a far lower price and healthier too.

They do roast their coffee pretty dark. I worked there for three years, so I got used to the flavor and I prefer their coffee over other places. Even local coffee shops, usually their regular brewed coffee is so acidic that I can't enjoy it. It's kind of weird, but when you drink Starbucks coffee for three yeas, that's what you get. I think it's convenient more than anything, and considering that they're designed to produce in mass quantities, the quality is going to suffer.

Starbucks is not the very greatest coffee I ever tasted, but for a chain that's available just about everywhere it's pretty darned good. Starbucks played a big part in the 'coffee revolution' of the 80s, which led to coffee being better in lots of places. McDonalds, Denny's, Dunkin' Donuts, etc. all have much better coffee today than before Starbucks set the standard. (Actually it was Peet's, and they're still around, but not as widespread. When Starbucks opened their first store in Seattle, the sold Peet's coffee.)
