No, not from a simple sprain. What's more likely is whatever meds you're taking for pain/swelling are causing nausea.

Oh sure - psycho-somatic stuff is very powerful. Once you're crippled, any animal is "off his food" for a while - humans are no different.

It is a common occurrence to feel nausea when experiencing severe pain. Just because the bruising is small or the swelling is not severe is not necessarily a measure of the pain a person might be experiencing.
