I went in to the Chippy and the owner of the chippy,who is a guy was talking to me,whilst he was frying chips,he said have you been working today and I said I have been to college and then he asked me what I was studying and he approved of the course I was studying. Also,he asked me what I was doing at the weekend. Then he started talking about all of the different jobs he has done in his life. He smiled a lot at me,and said good luck in your exams. Does he like me as a person,or does he fancy me.

Our local chippy guy is like that with everyone
so you would need to watch how he interacts with other customers
chances are he is just being a decent business owner and making small talk while you wait
