Does my cat think im protecting it?
I got a new dog a week ago and my cat has been acting diffrently. I have put it in my room and locked it up because its afraid of the dog. Everytime the dog comes in i 'protect' the cat. My cat has been sleeping with me every since. What does that mean. :D

It's probably sleeping in your room because it's scared to be around where the dog sleeps.
