Help me! Physics ( Velocity, Accelertion, Projectiles)?
I'm having a hard time reviewing for my finals. There will be questions such as:
The horizontal velocity of a projectile thrown has a velocity of 0.
The vertical velocity of a projectile has a constant acceleration.
A cart pushed and a ball dropped has a horizontal and vertical velocity of : A. 0, -9.8 B. -9.8 , -9.8
These confuse me :(

The way that you have worded it also confuses me.
The first two lines represent statements not questions.
There is nothing to answer.
The third does not represent a full situation. "A horizontal AND vertical velocity" would mean two answers not one.
Or it would require some situation where one object had two components.
So it is no wonder that you are confused. Your method of thinking does not make the situations clear.
Not to us, and thus also not to you.
