College GPA Calculating Question?

In my math class, a 87 to 90 is considered an A-, and a 90 to 97 is considered an A. If I have a 91 percent, my school reports it as a 4.0. When colleges recalculate my grade, will they look at the percentage or letter grade? 91 would be a 3.7 if they looked at percentages.

    GPA is calculated by the letter grade. A+ = 4.0, A = 4.0, A- = 3.75, B+ = 3.25, B = 3.0... and so on.
