It’s not that simple. Oftentimes, house cats and foxes leave each other to their own devices, each one free to frolick and eat various rodents in uninterrupted peace. However, every 10,000 years, a warrior is born among the two clans, and their inevitable destiny is to do battle under the midnight sun in the cold heart of the arctic circle. To the victor go the spoils, honor, and glory. This includes a feast on the the heart of the foe and the absorption of his immortal soul. The warrior returns to his home, and balance is restored to the land. He is then free to chillax or scratch furniture to his heart’s content. Other than that, house cats don’t usually eat foxes.

No, I recommend not sending your cat to eat an adult fox. Foxes are much faster and stronger and it could seriously hurt the sweet kitty.
