Flea problem with a cat help?!!!?'vn?

Hey guys, I don't know if anyone else is having this problem with their cat but he's a three month kitten and he recently started to get fleas. I recently gave him a bath yesterday thinking it was all gone just to find out they hatch more eggs on him...its honestly so annoying already and its kinda making me sad because he already has enough problems for me to worry about... and I do take out the fleas with a comb before I shower him and I don't know where he gets them from exactly. Is it best to remove him from the house and then get a flea pill for him till I clean my house? Any cat owners please send advice on how to stay strong during situtions like this, any other advice would be helpful too.

Eggs don't' hatch on the cat, they're not sticky and don't stay where the flea lays them. They're in the carpet or floor - they hatch there. Keep using a flea comb on him, kill the fleas you find. Daily vacuuming of the floors and furniture will kill any live flea it sucks up that are off the cat. Eggs can take up to 4 weeks to hatch.

A vet likely won't find it safe to give meds to a 12 week old kitten, that's too young for those.

At three months, he needs a vet visit for deworming, vaccines - and the vet will give you a quality flea treatment while you are there. The only flea product that actually works and won't be toxic to your kitten are those the vet sells. Failing that you can get Advantage II from the pet store. Do not get any other brand as they contain ingredients that cause seizures and death in cats, and are especially toxic to kittens. Bathing does nothing more than drown the live fleas, and any flea eggs you do not get out with the comb hatch. He needs to be treated 3 months in a row to break the cycle of fleas. If your home is infested, you may need to treat with a flea bomb - the vet sells those too. But you and he kitten need to be out of the house for the prescribed time. You can try vacuuming as that can work. Get a flea collar - NOT for the cat - and cut a piece to put in the vacuum bag, or compartment. Wrap the rest up and wash your hands - they are toxic and to us humans too. Vacuum daily - everywhere. The furniture, under the bed, and so on. The collar will kill any fleas or eggs that survive the trip up the hose. Get him a good flea product and a vet visit (fleas often come with tapeworm) and you will get rid of the things.

Why don't you go to the vet and get the flea treatment they can just put on the skin? Much easier.

Give him a bath with dawn dish soap. Lather him in it. It kills the fleas. Vacuum vacuum vacuum. Use direct contact flea meds on him once he is dry as well. Dont cheap out on cost. Cheap meds will give a cheap result. Flea powder for the carpet before vacuuming helps as well. They arent just on him. They're everywhere.
