The story of Naomi appears in the Bible in the book of Ruth. Naomi lived during the time of the judges. She was the wife of a man named Elimelech, and they lived in Bethlehem with their two sons, Mahlon and Kilion. They were both women (pre-gay marriage by 3300 years). They were mother and daughter-in-law. They were two widows who had each others back. Nothing about their relationship even remotely suggests they had that kind of relationship.
