  • When you highlight a biblical passage, write the words, your soon, becomes a context ?!

    Isaiah 14: 10-16.

10 All speak to say to you, "You also became weak like us and became like us." 11 Your pomp fell into Sheol together with the sound of your harps, and a bed of worms is spread beneath you, and the worms are your blanket ". 12 How come you fell from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the dawn? Why have you been thrown to the ground, you who landed the nations? 13 You said in your heart: "I will ascend into heaven, I will raise my throne above the stars of God, I will sit on the mountain of the assembly, in the extreme north, 14 will climb on the highest parts of the clouds, I will be similar Most High ". 15 Instead you will have fallen into Sheol, into the depths of the pit. 16 Those who see you look at you, look at you attentively and say: "This is the man who made the earth tremble, that shook the kingdoms.

Thus, the prophet Isaiah refers to Satan, Lucifer, a fallen angel of God!

Out there will be its end, along with millions of people who have done evil on earth, when the judgment of God will come !!

Isaiah chapter 14 first 12 does indeed refer specifically to Lucifer it tells you that pretty much word for word you oh bright and Shining one have fallen from heaven you have now fallen you were the one that said unto men come let us go on up into the heavens where we shall make our homes with the Gods where I shall become like the most high! All the nations will now say to you is this the man that we feared? Yes this Bible scripture refers specifically to Lucifer and it is also the Bible scripture from where we get the false Doctrine of men going to live with God in the heavens this scripture refers specifically to that false Doctrine and how Lucifer was cast out of heaven because he tried to get men to go with him up into the heavens to make their homes with the gods and become like the most high!

This false Doctrine is still to this very day being taught it's called The Rapture by the church! But it is the false doctrine of Lucifer.

It pays to read (Isa 14:15) first.

"Yet thou shalt be brought down to HELL, to the SIDES of the pit"

    (caps mine)

There is a real misconception from many christians that the word hell means a place of eternal conscious torment for the unsaved. Yet satan/Lucifer is NOT a human being -- so in what sense will satan as a fallen angel be tormented in fire and brimstone forever -- will he be given a body and a soul by God to be tormented as a man ?

If hell is a place of eternal conscious torment then why does the:

Hebrew word for hell - Sheol mean the Grave?

Greek word for hell - Hades mean abode of the Dead?

How can the English word 'Hell' have a completely different meaning to Sheol and Hades?

The answer is that it doesn't ! It is a matter of interpretation and unfortunately many christians are listening to man's ideas about hell and not accepting the bibles interpretation of hell.

Hell - is the common grave (Sheol) where the dead abode (Hades) in.

So if we read (Isa 14:15) with the view that satan will be in the future brought down to hell (grave of the dead) or the sides of the pit - pit is another word for the hell/grave (Psa 16:10 & 30:3) then what does (v:16) mean ?

"They that SEE THEE shall narrowly LOOK upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the MAN that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;"

Ok, satan/Lucifer is considered to be a MAN in this scripture.

When will this all happen and who will see and narrowly look at him ?

(Rev 20:1) And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key to the BOTTOMLESS PIT (Grave/ Hell) and a great chain in his hand

v:2 And he laid hold on the dragon. that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.

v:3 And cast him into the BOTTOMLESS PIT.

The bottomless pit is NOT the lake of fire but hell/ grave where satan is still alive but bound with a great chain so he can't escape.

Remember us humans die in our body and soul and cease to exist in the hell/grave but not satan because he is NOT a human being.

Satan is loosed out of the bottomless pit to wage war against God but FINALLY he and the beast and the false prophet cast into the lake of fire and are tormented DAY and NIGHT for ever and ever (Rev 20:100

Is the lake of fire the final place of hell?

No ! If the lake of fire is hell and a place of eternal torment for satan and later unsaved man --- then how can it have a DAY and NIGHT ?

Day and Night are time durations of this world not in eternity !

At the great white throne where God judges ALL people since this world began -- the people on this earth where the lake of fire is located will finally SEE satan DESTROYED by fire -- in the lake of fire NEVER to exist anymore along with unsaved man (Rev 20:12-15)

v:14 And Death and Hell/ grave were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

The word 'lucifer' was written about Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, a real man, not Satan. You cannot find any reference to Satan in that Scripture.

    Yes it refers to Satan.

Today Satan tries to trick people into worshiping him. (2 Corinthians 11:3,14)

One way he misleads people is through false religion. If a religion teaches lies about God, it really serves the purpose of Satan. (John 8:44)

People who are members of false religions may sincerly believe that they are worshiping the true God. Butthey are really serving Satan. He is 'the god of this world.' -

    Read 2 Corinthians 4:4.

Was it not written in reference to the king of Babylon? Verse 4.

If one wishes to transfer the application to Satan, fine, but then it's not literal, just illustrative.

It referred, in prophecy, to the sudden demise of the king of Babylon at the hands of Cyrus the Great in October 539 B.C.

It wasn't until the Hebrew scriptures were translated into the Latin Vulgate that the term Lucifer (morning star) first appeared, long after Christ's era. In Christian tradition, this has become a name for Satan but the Hebrew text makes no apparent reference here to Satan.
