Honestly, the measure is polling with 72% against. And even if it did pass, then the repubs in Congress would shut it down. All three sections gave huge majorities to Clinton in 2016, so they would all probably send Democratic senators to Washington.

Never happen but if it did one of those states would be nothing but illegal immigrants, 1 would be the poor melting pot and the other would be the Hollywood elite

Won't happen. Congress will never let that happen. For one, it's a ploy to give the Republicans more leverage in Congress.

How? California, dominated by Los Angeles, would be a red State. So the Republicans would gain two conservative Senators they didn't have before the split. North California would remain a blue State and South California would teeter back and forth on the color.

The Democrats in Congress will never let that happen.

California will not split or become independent, so don't worry about it.

If the voters of California approve it, and then the US Congress approves it, There will be 2 rich Ex-California states and 1 Northern Poor state, still controlled by Sacramento.
