I have Pectus Excavatum which inhibits my breathing ability. My age is going on 61 but my health is good besides. Is it too late to fix?

It would be quite unusual for it to be causing a problem this late in life. If it's going to cause a restrictive disorder, it typically does so in your 20's. It's not a progressive disorder so if you haven't had breathing problems until now that's not likely to be the source of the problem.

Have you had a pulmonary function test that demonstrated a restrictive disorder? If you haven't, it would be worth getting the test first. I can't count how many people have come into my pulmonary lab convinced they (or their doctor) knew what the problem was only to leave with an entirely different answer. It would be odd to have pectus excavatum be a problem at your age so I'd investigate this with diagnostic testing first.
