    Well...in fact lots are given...

and these are not always rendered in the same way in different Bible translations.

    One example:

    https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=gen+1...

    another example:

    https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=gen+2...

Note that there are several other instances, and several other (different) names given to God.

Exodus 3:14 'I will become what I choose to become."

That expression, in Hebreux, was Yahweh.

    Translated to English, it's Jehovah.

The most common Bible scripture is Psalms 83: 18.

Psalms 83:18   That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.

Exodus 6:3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.

Isa 12:2  Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

Isa 26:4  Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength

God's is given multiple names: Jehovah, El Shaddai, Elohim, I AM, YHWH, and many others. But read Psalm 138:2

He gave a name above every name; Jesus. Everyone keeps trying to find it all over the Bible and God already told us what to use. I decided it isn't a mystery for me any more.

    Philippians 2

9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place

and gave him the name that is above every name,

10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,

in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,

to the glory of God the Father.

I think people keep unnecessary controversies alive because they never take God's word for it.

ONE OF THEM IS "THE GREAT I AM" AND THE WORD GREAT IS IN MY CONCORDANCE OVER 200 TIMES SO THAT IS ROUGH TO FIND WHERE...ALSO U MIGHT WISH TO READ ABOUT WHERE HE CALLS HIMSELF LORD IN ISA 43. HE IS ALSO CALLED THE MOST HIGH AND YAHWEH..TRY ISA 9:6 ALSO WHERE HE CALLS HIMSELF LORD AGAIN

  • People have names. God is God. In the Old Testament, there are a number of words for God, but none are his name. Jesus taught us to call God "Our Father".
