How long does it take to get pregnant after coming off the depo injection ?
Can it happen straight away ? Or does it literally take years I’ve been spotting since coming off of that helps ?

It varies. It can happen shortly after, or take a year or more. Considering the injection shuts down your reproductive system, so getting off the shot isn't like missing a birth control pill. It can take time for your body to restart the processes that allow you to become pregnant...and that amount of time will vary from woman to woman.
From the Mayo Clinic website: "After stopping Depo-Provera, it might take 10 months or more before you begin ovulating again." Which means some women will start ovulating in less time, and others will take longer.

It can take up to 10 months after coming off of it assuming you want to be pregnant.
Beyond that a healthy woman has less than a 1 in 10 chance of getting pregnant in any given month assuming you are active during your fertile period. As such even when you are fertile it's perfectly normal to take months of trying to get pregnant.
