How old were Adam and Eve when they got chucked out of Eden?
Is there any indication in The Bible of the period of time between when they were created and the fruit incident?
I ask this because the tree of knowledge was just sitting there in the story. One day, one week, one year, a million years. Was it not inevitable that somebody would taste the fruit eventually.

the 10th or 8th century BC authors who wrote that story didn't think it was an important detail.
But the 6th or 5th century BC authors who wrote Gen 5 says he was 130 years old when Cain was born, so according to them, it wasn't any longer than that.

Good point, but you must realise that Eden was a big place and the tree was quite small. As far as i am aware the Glastonbury festival had just ended and everyone was tidying up when Eve stumbled across it.

More than seven days. Less than 130 years (his age when Cain and Abel are born). No real indication beyond that.

Age wouldnt apply. They were created mature. And were ejected in the same day that they were made, by all estimations.

He knew that Adam would betray him and doom all mankind. So he devised a plan of salvation in and through his Son Jesus Christ to restore the faithful one by one back into his graces.

He knew the END of all things BEFORE the beginning of them. Thats Gods word
Isa 46:10 I declared the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that were not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
ALL CREATION IS FOR GODS OWN PLEASURE
Rev 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
