Is becoming a psychiatrist worth all the years in college it takes?

    What do you mean "worth it"? If you're only interested in how much money you'll make, don't become a psychiatrist. You have to be really dedicated to helping people. The most important thing is that you do something you enjoy doing- otherwise, no money makes up for the misery.

    Define "worth it".

    If you want to be a psychiatrist it's worth it, because that's what it takes.
