Why are desktop computers still being sold?

Desktop computers are the best. Tablets and smartphones just aren't the same. So I highly disagree with that statement.

I love my desktop. It's more reliable than my laptop for paying the bills. Business owners still prefer desktops.

This is easy to answer. There are many many reasons!

1) I can stick 5 hard drives with terebytes of space on each into one. Can you do that with a tablet or laptop? No!

2) Can you put an incredibly powerful graphics card into a laptop and tablet and play games that are the best money can buy? No!

3) With a PC, it's just there. Turn it on and everything works. I have a laptop but if I decide I want to use speakers, a monitor, a mouse, etc. I need to hook it all up or dock it. Pain in the **** or expensive depending on what you settle on.

4) I have had the same PC for over 6 years and I bet its still more powerful than your laptop. Why? Because I can upgrade anything it in when I want.

Yes it takes up more space and it's not portable, etc, etc. But nothing can beat it otherwise. I have a desktop, a mac, a laptop, 2 tablets and a smartphone but my desktop is still the hub of everything for me.

Desktops are better because you can change the monitor, memory and hdd individually. laptop, you can't modify alot as it is all one system.

Need horsepower for video editing and CAD.

I can see & read the monitor screen for my desktop.

Alot of computer gamers prefer larger screens. Then they can see more peripherally than what's able to be seen from a phone.
