Feed it alphabet soup and it’s brain will fully develop and it will become conscious enough to talk and hold an educated conversation like in Martha Speaks

Its clear you are the village idiot.

They are not capable of full speech but you can teach them to make certain sounds that mimic human speech. Check out YouTube on talking dogs or how to train your dog to talk (not speak)

You sell the dog to someone who knows basic information about a dog. I don't know if I hope this is a joke or not. Anyway I sympathy the dog.

LOL How funny. The dog does talk to you but in body language & you don t know how to read the dogs body language so you are the uneducated one.

You don't want your dog to intentionally start barking or "speaking" for a reward (that you will have used - to train for this) or the dog will simply begin to PESTER YOU all day long =>>> that way.

Use good sense..... and instead, teach the dog something WORTHWHILE like "sit, "shake" or to do a "down" or to BALANCE a treat on its nose or simply to "WAIT" or to "STAY" until you give the magic release word (= "OKAY") to dive in, to get the reward.
