The main benefits are Vitamins A and D, and omega-3 fatty acids. BUT, and this is the most important thing, these benefits are only had by people who have vitamin or omega-3 deficiencies. The body naturally gets these nutrients from other sources, and when your body has enough, it doesn't utilize any extra nutrients, it just flushes them out. Unless your doctor told you that you have a deficiency of some kind, using supplements won't have any effect. It's not going to make you extra healthy or anything, it just flushes through your system and does nothing, unless you have a vitamin deficiency. The omega-3 could still be somewhat helpful if you have heart issues, but it's unlikely.
