A stray ferret bit me. Should I do anything?

So I found a ferret on my garden; I think it's a baby that lost its mother. Anyway, I put it in a box but while doing so, it bit me hard. It wouldn't let go at all and I had to pry its mouth open. I rubbed some TCP on the bite mark and it didn't sting so I don't think it pierced the skin (or at least didn't pierce it very deep). My hand feels a bit funny but I haven't noticed anything too odd yet. Should I do anything else? Should I consider A&E or should I only bother if I start to feel worse?

Update:

FERRET UPDATE

I put the ferret outside in a sturdy pet carry box. I'm worried it'll try to escape as the box is only made out of cardboard (though it is a strong card). I gave it some cat food and he chugged it faster than I can down a pint of beer! Poor thing must've been really hungry. In the small moment he was distracted, I also placed a small plate of water down for him. I'm hoping an animal shelter will be able to take him off me tomorrow as my family can't keep him.

Update 2:

FINAL UPDATE

A post about the ferret was shared around on Facebook. Turns out he has an owner who lives on the other side of town and has been missing for 3 weeks! As soon as the owner came to pick him up, he climbed all over her and made quite a fuss. My hand hasn't fallen off. The Ferret has returned home. It's a happy ending.

The question is, what do you plan on doing with the 'ferret,' now?

As for a bite that didn't break the skin, there's nothing to be concerned about. That's typical ferret behavior and he's probably hungry.

If there wasn't blood, you don't have anything to worry about.

Are you sue it was a ferret and not a wild weasel?

Yes sir, take it to the spca and have it quarantined and tested for rabies and other types of bacteria. You cant take chances with your health.

Keep an eye on the ferret. If it starts acting funny, or foams at the mouth, get immediate medical attention. You are probably ok, but if you start running a temperature, or start feeling sick, see a doctor.
