Pray tell, on what basis do you believe? Do you have any evidence of an afterlife? Is there some way to prove its existence? Or does it simply make you happy to believe in absolute fantasy?

As in heaven? No. But after I am dead, here will still be a place that exists.

Herafter is a castle in fairyland on the next hill to the west of Rapunzel's tower and two blocks south of Jack's Bean Stalk. The 3 little pigs once considered building in the neighborhood, but the prevailing winds are too strong for straw and stick houses so they relocated to the northern valley.

Yes I do, I do believe that there is another life, an afterlife. You can only go up from here and here on earth, is the lowest place..and God doesn't value this world.

I do believe I will be resurrected and will stand before my Lord and will be judged by how God, the Just, judges. I do believe the final abode is either heaven or hell. Those who have passed away are awaiting for Resurrection Day/Day of Recompense. They are awaiting in the unseen world and waiting to be resurrected.

The good souls when they are in their graves, when they are shown both hell & paradise and they are shown their place in paradise they will dwell in when Resurrection Day comes; they will beg God to bring about the end of the world just so they can go to paradise.

While, the bad soul will beg God not to bring the end of the world because he/she knows they will face a severe, eternal punishment than the one they face in their graves.

And my Lord is aware of those who deny this Day. He says that He knows they deny this Day and disbelieve in it.

He says He will bring the Hellfire for all to see and those who denied..who disbelieved in the coming of this Day, their faces will be dragged on the ground and into the Fire they shall taste what they've denied.

My Lord says in many chapters of the Holy Wise Quran and that they should not be hasty, they will get what they've denied.

By those {winds} scatter far and wide, and those that are heavily laden, that speed freely, and those {angels} apportioning {each} matter, indeed, what you {people} are promised is true: the Judgement will come by the sky with its pathways, you differ what you say.

Deluded away from the Quran is he who is deluded. Perish the liars, those who steeped in error and unaware!

They ask, "when is this Judgement Day coming?" On a Day when they will be punished by the Fire, 'Taste the punishment! This is what you wished to hasten.'

The righteous will be in Gardens with {flowing} springs. They will receive their Lord's gifts because of the good they did before: They used to sleep but little of the night, and in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness, giving a rightful share of their wealth to the beggar and the deprived. On earth there are signs for those with sure faith and in yourselves too, do you not see? in the sky is your sustenance and all that you are promised. By the Lord of the Heavens & Earth! Indeed, it is the truth just as sure as it is that you are speaking. - cont.

The evildoers, like their predecessors, will have a share of punishment they need not ask Me to hasten it and woe betide those who deny the truth on the Day they have been promised. - Adh-Dhariyat, Scattering Winds.

Only Allah can humiliate and punish anyone He wants. And those who enter the blazing Fire that requires stones and human beings for fuel; they are utmost humiliated..they will enter the Fire in humiliation.

People may be mocking right now about God's promise, but it will come soon and they, in humiliation, will admit the truth and how wrong they were. They will be the most miserable losers who will regret like they've never regretted.

They will enter the Fire and the righteous, believers who were firm on the truth till death and who faithfully were dutiful to Allah, will enter the Paradise on the same day.

To be honest, nobody knows. Anyone who claims they know the answer is a fraud.
