I like a girl from work, would it be weird to stalk and dm her or is it best to just wait for the next shift when I can ask for her number?

    Yes it would be weird to stalk and dm her.

    It would also be weird to stalk her at work.

    I suggest you try face to face talking to her and see how that developes. DO NOT allow your imagination to create a relationship that does not exist.
