Why does my 6 Hp shop vac spew foam and water droplets when I vacuum water out of my carpet?

It does this even when the water level inside is near the bottom of the canister.

    Poor design. Probably not a "commercial grade" machine. Check the filter.

    does it have a 'filter' in side ??? maybe it's time for a new one ??

    I'm guessing you left a dry paper filter in your shop vac when you started sucking up water, and the filter is now waterlogged and blowing water out of the exhaust port.
