Advice for writing emotionally?

I have struggles for writing about how people react to certain emotion, especially negative ones. I can describe things you can see, hear, smell, like an environment but emotion I struggle with a lot. Do you have any tips?

Emotion is better expressed by dialogue. I could send you an example. Thundermist04167@yahoo.com

Observe animals in the park, nature, birds.Watch closely how they communicate. They get quite emotional.Describe their behaviour toward one another.Humans behave much the same.Anger, hurt, nurturing, protection, playfulness I have observed with the different birds near me especially where there is food.

the only way to understand emotion is to experience it.

go out and live life. then you can write about it. it is nearly impossible (and inadvisable) to write about something you don t know.

Try doing it through dialog. Dialog is inherently interesting, and instead of describing emotion, you can express it directly. "He was so angry he swore," is lame. "Screw you!" is direct.
