What if the 4th plane actually hit is target on 9/11, what difference would that make (Other than more deaths I m not an idiot Ok.)?

I don't think that the number of planes would alter the outcomes. The point was to make a demonstration that Americans were not exempt from the problems of war.

Osama's statement was "Why should Americans sleep soundly in their beds while Palestinians cannot sleep safely in theirs". Or something very similar.

Even a single plane could have made that message.

The result is continual airport security. Basically people feel less safe than before.

Which is a bit of a laugh when you look at how many people are killed by Americans carrying guns. The twin towers was just a fleabite compared to the self inflicted damage.

However the difference is that the twin towers caused changes. The carnage caused by guns has not yet caused any change at all.

Depends where it hit. If it hit a major city, economic impact could have been worse. If it hit in the middle nowhere, not much would be affected other than the people dead on the plane. Strange question
