    Sores on the tongue is an oral issue,,, which can affect the way you eat, chew, swallow ,talk and usually appear on top, bottom, sides, tip, and surface. These can be bumps, blisters or ulcers...…………

    Oral herpes infection;

    Primary oral herpes infection (primary herpetic gingivostomatitis) is an initial infection by the herpes simplex virus that can cause rapidly developing, painful sores on the gums and other parts of the mouth. Secondary herpes(recurrent herps labialis) is a local reactivation of the virus that produces a cols sore.

    Can use a mouth rinse or wash to help with the pain it may also help to heal the sore.

    Taking some vitamin C may also help.

    Canker sore;

    These little buggers the cause is unknown! however its said stress is the reason they appear inside the mouth .The sore always forms on soft tissue on lip or cheek and tongue or the palate and sometimes in the throat.

    Could be an ulcer this is a hole that forms in the lining of the mouth,, when the top layer of cells break down, and the under lying tissue shows threw. An ulcer appears white because of the dead cells inside the hole. Mouth ulcers frequently result from tissue injury or by irritation.

    This could stem from something you ate as well.

    If this does not improve soon you might want to go see your health care provider..
