Just because I was a bald Asian baby who looked like Buddha? Actually, I don't really know if I am inadvertently practicing Buddhism which would figuratively make me Buddhist/Christian. Note that Gandhi said he is figuratively a Christian.

For some Buddhism is a religion, a social club, with ceremony and rituals and all of that. But for others Buddhism is not really a religion and doesn't involve any gods or worship, and doesn't even have to involve other people, it's more about trying to understand life and trying to live it in peace and harmony. I'm not so keen on the former but I have looked into Buddhist teachings in order to try for the latter. The abandonment of attachment seems like a wise move on the path towards happiness.
