How to get rid of the smell on my coffee cup?
Some weeks ago I was shopping at Walmart and was thrilled to spot this amazing gorgeous DC Harley Quinn cup among other popular DC character cups. Naturally I bought it but after drinking from it once time I noticed there is a kind of odor that smells to me like something pickled. I figured the paint probably didn't cure long enough so I've let it sit in the cupboard and even after multiple washes and a long time setting in the cupboard there is still some kind of smell on it. What is it and how do I get rid of that smell?

Try using Baking Soda and/or White Vinegar, diluted with hot water .. soak for 30 mins and then wash normally.
Another good way to get rid of ''that smell'' is to dissolve a denture (false teeth) cleaning tablet in a mug of warm water .. and again soak and wash.

Try letting some very hot boiling water with dish washing liquid sit in it for 30 minutes, then wash the cup with the water and rinse. See if the smell is any better.
