Is this a movie? What is the name?
There is something I vaguely recalled seeing on late night tv as a kid (before the demise of VCR tapes). I was one of those kids that stayed up extremely late to watch shows and movies that I wasn't supposed to. I recall there was a scene with a robot or a cyborg something that sort of resembled Jake Gyllenhaal. And I think the robot had fallen in love with some woman that was terrified of it. I came across a photo of the robot once some years ago but it was lost when one of my older laptops died and i pretty much just want to confirm if this was actually a movie.

2 AnswersHomework Help1 year agoCake Pan/Cornbread pan like grandma's?
Long story short Mom once upon a time inherited grandma's dishes and pots and pans after her passing, and apparently 'they don't make them like they used to'. Someone in the family stole the 'cornbread pan' many years ago and I'd forgotten all about it til finding a good and sturdy yet smooth pan at a goodwill one day and....I intended it for my sister but mom called dibs explaining it was exactly like the one she had before. Several family members now have their eye on mom's new cornbread pan. Now I'm on the hunt because most of the things in the stores now are shiny stainless steel or the flimsy feeling metal that I'm afraid will bend if you happen to drop it. I'm hoping someone can give me a clue where to find a round pan that is both light yet has a little weight to it. I can't ID the brand or anything because the outside of the pan is black.
Cooking & Recipes1 year agoWhat s this stuff coming out of cracks in a coffee cup?
I bought a coffee mug from walmart. There was a chemical odor coming from it no matter what I tried, even baking soda and vinegar didn t get rid of it. After using the baking soda and vinegar some kind of white sandy stuff started coming out of micro cracks in the cup (which is where I think the smell is coming from). It s white and crumbly like sand. After each wash with bleach the white stuff appears again. What could this stuff be?
4 AnswersCleaning & Laundry2 years agoHow to get rid of the smell on my coffee cup?
Some weeks ago I was shopping at Walmart and was thrilled to spot this amazing gorgeous DC Harley Quinn cup among other popular DC character cups. Naturally I bought it but after drinking from it once time I noticed there is a kind of odor that smells to me like something pickled. I figured the paint probably didn't cure long enough so I've let it sit in the cupboard and even after multiple washes and a long time setting in the cupboard there is still some kind of smell on it. What is it and how do I get rid of that smell?

5 AnswersEthnic Cuisine2 years agoFeminine troubles with soap?
I know this is an awkward subject but I've always wondered if other women deal with this.
I can't use the same soap as my family (as in from the same soap dish) because I'm prone to breakouts down there. I get lumps that go away after a short time, so I've learned to just keep my own soap in traveling dish. This should be a done solution but it's not. I suspect when they run out of soap and don't want to retrieve their a new bar of their own they reach for mine....and if I suspect my soap has been used by others (or dropped on the floor) I automatically have to throw it away.
Do other women have this problem with soap and their lady parts? I mean....is it normal?! I didn't used to break out from the communal soap until maybe 4 or 5 years ago.
5 AnswersWomen's Health2 years agoHow to fix my Giantex/Costway twin washer?
Recently purchased, was supposed to be brand new. During the first wash cycle it worked perfectly but had faint burning smell, which I thought may have been because it was being used for the first time. Second time washing a light load the spin cycle was going when I switched the other compartment to drain. Suddenly both motors stop and it won't work anymore. I'm waiting for a reply from the seller. In the meantime has anyone else experienced this problem and how was it fixed?
Here's a link to the exact model: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01ALBMIEI/ref=o...

After some research/reading, I want to try vegetable gardening and want to make a grow tower from a plastic barrel, but can't figure out where I can find them for cheap in my area. Are there any gardeners in Saint Louis, preferably north side, that knows where I can get some 20-30 gal plastic barrels?
2 AnswersGarden & Landscape4 years agoShoes for severely swollen feet?
My sister is in need of new shoes badly but can't wear her actual size due to how bad her feet swell. She's normally a size 10, I'm a size 12 wide and she can't even fit my shoes. I know she has a lymphedema in one leg and a blood clot thats inoperable and is on water retention medicines. None of the shoes at the local stores will fit her feet. She's physically handicapped with nerve damage and a sciatic nerve that restricts her movements so she needs some kind of shoe with doesn't have strings and is easy to step into. I'd like the shoes to be a surprise, but I have no way of measuring her foot size with them so swollen. Anyone have recommendations?
2 AnswersFashion & Accessories4 years agoThe Bonanza episode where the horse dies?
There's an episode of the show where Joe buys this really expensive horse because of its breeding and is really proud of it. Something happens where people get hurt and he's forced to make a shortcut up a mountain or large hill of some kind that is previously known to be impassable for horses because the strain kills them. The horse makes it over the hill and down the other side and dies after Joe is able to fetch help for the injured person. Which episode is that?
1 AnswerDrama5 years agoIs this true about the life of school teachers in the old west?
in The Virginian a woman who craved love had a very hard time courting. It was discovered she lied during the trial that killed a man's father because "I'm a woman that teaches children. I'm not to be touched." This was that in reference because she couldn't admit that she had been out with a man that night . Is this true? Or was it the sentiment of that specific fictional town?
1 AnswerTrivia5 years agoIs tgus reference from Daniel Boone accurate?
On an episode of Daniel Boone, Boone and his son were surprised when they came home and found Boone's wife had a keg of "indian salt" (granulated) and the son said "our salt comes in chunks as though they dug it right up from the ground but Indians (native americans) like to pound their salt."
Did they really call it indian salt back then? Was salt really sold by the chunk in kegs? And where were pioneer settlers getting thier salt?
1 AnswerHistory5 years agoThe book 'Brown Hanna'?
I recall the character in the book was a nature-spirit type girl called Brown Hanna kept as the prisoner of an evil sorcerer and her best friends/adoptive family was a pair of animals. She met some guy who got turned into a wolf pup and escaped the sorcer and went on a journey to find her origins. Eventually going from Brown Hanna to Green Hanna (I think) to Gold Hanna. I just can't find it online because the name of some woman named Hanna Brown keeps popping up.
1 AnswerBooks & Authors5 years agoThe name of that anime film?
I can only remember brief details. The title sounded something like kee-doh-ma-ruu, but when i try googling a naruto character pops up (argh).
The synapsis of the film involved two childhood friends, one with the kee-doh-ma-ruu title that was rescued by a samurai when her village was attacked and raised as a tomboyish warrior. The other was a noblewoman who went insane after her its implied her uncle killed her family and took her prisoner. The noblewoman seems to have some sort of obsession over the former who's name sounded like ken-to-ki.
