Unless you actually have a reason to eat in specific way it dose not matter.

Our bodies are able to go on without food for quite some time and it has been regular occurrence at ascension of our species into top tier predators that we did not get to eat every day,

Yes it is less of a strain on your body to have evenly distributed small snacks across whole day, but it is barely noticeable difference if you just eat once a day (unless you are like athlete or something).

It is healthier to eat more often than one meal a day but in terms of weight loss, it doesn't really matter - what matters is total daily caloric intake
