My scratches are becoming bruises?
I was at my sister s house, and her dog is super hyper. When I stepped in the door she started jumping on me immediately. I got a few scratches on my thighs, but I didn t think much of it. I just went home and cleaned them with rubbing alcohol. Today I was about to take a shower when I notice that the skin surrounding the scratches is all bruised. I tried looking it up, but I couldn t get a clear answer.

My nieces huge dog does that all the time, he never got any training how to greet people (he was a rescue), and he jumps on anyone who enters - I often get scratches AND black and blue marks on my body - wherever his paws land on me.
(She's continues to try training him not to do that, but with very limited success. The dogs just so happy to see people - and it seems, especially me... lol).
