Isn't it time more boys realised that when they take a girl out to eat, THEY must pay. The girl is 'paying' in a sense just by being there.?

The guys are usually the ones asking for the date, so it's their responsibility to pay for the night.  Many times, the girl rewards the guy with something much better. 

That is fine with me as long as it is understood that the lady owes the man some head for paying for her meal.

Strange how feminists want equality but only when it suits them. 

They can't accept that men are the stronger sex, that men's world records are VASTLY superior to the women's.

That men are better at football, rugby, hockey, athletics, golf, tennis, swimming etc etc....men are even better at non- strength/speed sports such as darts, snooker, pool etc.

Absolutely!!!  The mere company of a woman is priceless.  He should not only pay, but open doors, carry her belongings, and in general treat her like a queen.

Back when I was dating, boys usually paid because they had more money, higher paying jobs, more allowance. Their parents might slip them a little money to go out on a date while the girl's parents just made sure she could call home if she needed rescuing. Most people didn't think the girl was "paying" by her presence, just that gals rarely had their own money to go out. I know most of the men I dated took me out to eat at places they knew I'd not afford on my own. It's a form of courtship. Long honored and appreciated.

Since we've entered into the "porn and hang out" era... I'm guessing that the "dating" tradition is changing rapidly.

Girls want equality, right? Well so do boys. Don't expect us to buy a bunch of stuff for you, make the first move with everything and be happy just from your presence. That's quite an ignorant view you've got, what makes you think you being there is a payment?
