1993 Jeep Wrangler ground ?
I have a 1993 Jeep Wrangler with a 2.5L 4 cylinder that’s been “professionally” replaced a while ago, and ever since it was replaced I’ve had a problem with the battery dying when it’s parked for a few weeks. I’m not 100% sure if it’s the problem but I know it’s not helping but when I took a look I found the main ground was connected to the battery but the end of the main ground is just dangling around in the engine bay. Does anyone know where it’s supposed to mount? I can’t find any obvious spots

The main ground cable from the battery needs to be attached to the motor block or transmission housing.
There should also be a ground to the body from the battery negative post.
When you get those cables replaced go to an auto parts store and have the battery and charging system tested. It's a free service they offer.

Make one. Find a convenient, close, bolt with about a 3/8" shank, put the neg lead under it. Buy one to reach from battery neg, to a convenient bolt on bell housing or something, too, Bad ground to block can erode CV joint bearings on starting.

It's supposed to connect to the chassis/frame, but I don't know exactly where on that model. If you can't find it any bolt directly connected to the frame or body would do. A manual would help, so would someone who knows the model. There's also supposed to be a grounding strap between engine and frame.
There's clearly some form of grounding going on or you'd have nothing!
