Why did God make all the planets round, do squares or triangles not work?

Their corners travel at too high of speeds so they fly off and they end up turning into globes anyway... so God decided to do it the right way the first time.

No, shapes don’t work for planets.
When a planet (or moon) has enough mass it has no other physical path but to become a sphere (or nearly spherical) ... that’s just gravity at work.
It is also part of what defines what a planet is.
(Size, shape & orbit).
Also, planets from by accretion.
Thus they will grow uniformly around the center of mass.
Notice that the moons of Mars are not round.
That is because they have small mass.

It was a Pastafarian who first pointed out, right here on R&S, that the FACT that the Flying Spaghetti Monster created this solar system, is PROVEN by the FACT that all the planets are shaped like meatballs.

Mass creates gravity. With enough mass everything will form a sphere because that is the most stable structure. Anything else would collapse under its own gravity.
Oh, and God doesn't exist.

Mass creates gravity, and gravity draws debris, in an even, spherical force field, God created it that way because it's the simplest way for us to perceive.

God made gravity, and that's how gravity works. You're welcome.
