Why onion prices are increasing. What is the use of onion cover.?

As the way of asking onion is difficult as there are many types of onion.

As it is available more in nearby places where we are not searching.

As the weather is bad for onion growth.

Onion is being wasted mostly. It is difficult to maintain.So don't use.

I am going to guess that "onion cover" means the papery outer part?

This can be boiled and then used in making a natural dye. It can also be boiled with other random vegetable scraps and/or bones, etc. in order to make a soup broth.

when produce prices increase, that usually indicates less of the product available. Perhaps where the onions in your area come from there were crop issues with bad weather, etc.
