Business or law school. ?
I am 26 years old and I am a sophomore in college in Chicago
I did 2 years of college prior to going into the military for 5 years. And now that I’m out I am finishing up business school so I can start my career because I hope to start a family by age 30
My only problem is that when I chose this it was mostly because I always never had a hard time working with numbers and I’m ok with doing research and I also have family and friends so it didn’t seem that bad to me.
But when I was in highschool i had always wanted to be a lawyer but the idea of it never seemed right because it was expensive and lengthy(thus the reason I joined military) and I probably would’ve been just finishing up law school if I had the resources to go.
I’m only bringing this up because I recently took a business law class last semester and it was the best class I took so far. These accounting classes are so boring and repetitive to me and just lacked excitement. It just seemed like a breath of fresh air.
I’m mostly just looking for advice I guess. Should I just be realistic and finish business school. Or do something that I could probably enjoy and go for law

My husband was a corporate attorney with a Fortune 500 company. He worked with the business side of the company doing various deals and found that he liked business better than law. So he made a horizontal transfer into the business side and was much happier. You can transfer from law to business without a business degree, but you can't transfer from business to law without a law degree.

if you're considering the business
school it's also likely that you're
considering other graduate programs like
Law School here are some very important
reasons why business goes way better
then lost its number one Business School
is 33% shorter than law school which
means 33% less tuition and 33% less
forgone income number two when you
graduate from business school you are
free to practice business there's a bar
exam or continuing legal education you
are a business person
number three Business School guys are
less douchey then law school guys your
results may differ especially if you
went to Worgen number for business
school women are way cooler than law
school women, I've no data to back this
up but I feel pretty good about this
unsubstantiated conjecture but if you're
in the market for a fella integrated
business school it's not as male-heavy
as it used to be but it's still like
shooting sausage in a barrel by the way
this is where I tell you that one of the
reasons I didn't go to law school is
because I bombed the LSAT which kind of
worked out because it saved me a
lifetime of being a lawyer and business
schools worked out that you should
totally get an MBA

Take a few sample LSAT tests online and see if you would have a chance at getting a good score after studying. If so, then go for your dream. A business degree won't get you as far in life. And don't be worried if you have to delay your plans for marriage and family, you have plenty of time for that, too.
