If someone you know is cheating on their significant other should you tell that person or stay out of?

My husbands brother has been cheating on his girlfriend for years now. They've been together for almost 9 years. I don't have a good relationship with my husbands Brother or girlfriend because they are both have addicted personalites and just not very nice people. We don't really have any proof that he's been cheating on her but we know and he'll say things like "hey don't tell my girlfriend so and so came over to hang out, shell be mad at me" . My husband knows for a fact he's been cheating on her for years and said his a piece of **** for it.  Now do to the fact that I don't even talk to his brother's girlfriend she wouldn't believe me anyway. I feel like she either knows and can't do anything about it or she really doesn't know. Idk if it's my place or stay out of it. I just hope the bastard gets caught

It's NOT your place is it.  It's your husband's family problem.  Why are you bothered anyway.  His wife probably knows and turns a blind eye and won't thank anyone for pointing out what she already knows.  If she doesn't know, you will be accused of telling her just to upset her.  Keep your nose well out.

Since you don't have much of a relationship with these people, steer clear of involving yourself in their personal lives.

That’s a hard question to answer, but I’m going to say it’s always situational.

8 times out of 10, I’m gonna go with, either tell the person directly who is being cheated on, or strongly encourage someone close to them to tell them.

I don’t think anyone deserves to look stupid that way.

Stay out of it. The person usually ends up hating the messenger and not the cheater.
